Julie’s Traffic Lights

Julie Normoyle again succeeded in getting a well needed crossing at the Garvey Centre. Previous to this Julie worked tirelessly addressing local politicians to get a crossing at the Peoples park in Limerick so we could reach the park with greater ease at lunch times.

Garda Paula Creegan, Community Police Officer gave  a lesson to all on the new Pedestrian Crossing at the Garvey Adult Day Services Centre in John St.    The   Centre has 30 Service Users.   Some are on a Supported Employment Programme working in various businesses in the city, others go independently to the shops and this lesson aids at inclusion and using local amenitities. One of the goals of the Daughters of   Charity is to promote living to the fullest of each individuals capacity,
